Two members of City Council are appointed annually to The Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities Association Board of Directors, representing The City of Saskatoon on the Board, in accordance with the Bylaws and Constitution of The Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities Association.

1) To represent the collective interests of local government in Saskatchewan;
2) To provide a forum for the discussion and promotion of those interests; and
3) To provide programs and services that work toward the general improvement of local government.
