Leadership in Brownfield Renewal Program (LiBRe) is offered through the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ (FCM) Green Municipal Fund (GMD). LiBRe networks Canadian municipalities that are committed to bringing their brownfield sties back into productive use and helps municipalities understand, navigate and reduce barriers to brownfield redevelopment.

"I followed up with our LiBRe coordinator, and she indicated that we (City of Saskatoon) is the first city in the program to have a Council appointment. As such, there is no formal process for communicating this/ informing FCM of the appointment. She said that it would be up to the City to communicate this news as part of their usual announcement process, be it PSA or social media, or whatever. She also said that she would make sure to “retweet” or share whatever the City does. ")
